There are several reasons to consider artificial grass installation. Many of our clients at All Season Turf feel that artificial grass may be a suitable option, but they are concerned that the cost would be excessively high or that it will not meet their specific demands. They may not aware, for example, that it is ideal for pet owners or that it is far less expensive to maintain than typical grass.
People may be concerned about whether or not it will work for their Christmas decorations. True, there are some guidelines to follow while putting up decorations, but for the most part, your fake grass will go in nicely with your outdoor decor. Stakes or pegs are the only absolute no-nos
You might be shocked to hear that you can do almost anything on an artificial lawn that you can on a natural grass, with the exception of posts and pegs. Is this to say that you won’t be able to decorate your front lawn? Obviously not. A reindeer or a sleigh are two examples of décor options that are self-supporting.
There are other decorations with weighted bottoms to hold them upright on their own. Look for decorations that don’t require posts or pegs to be set in the grass, such as snowmen, large wrapped presents, or other forms of decorations.
Take care when using inflatables
Yes, you may use inflatables on your artificial lawn, but do so with caution. Why? They are readily blown away since they are frequently huge and light in weight. They can work well if you can tie them down to a post or peg in landscaping that does not have artificial turf, or if you can tie them to a porch. However, if pegs are used on artificial grass, they might cause harm.
Allow your inner decorator to take control
Aside from stakes and pegs, your fake lawn may be decorated in any way you like. We advocate using a lot of lights, a lot of whimsy, and something that will complement your house while still expressing your particular flair.
